John

Co-Founder

John has been in the real estate and construction industry since 2006, with his passion for buying, renovating, and building taking shape in 2018. He has lived in Battle Lake for well over a decade, transforming older homes built in the early 1900s into more modern, comfortable, and livable versions of themselves. Each home has been showcased on the Battle Lake Holiday Parade of Homes tour and has received great feedback. John continues that passion through new homes, barndominiums, shouses, shops, and full renovations. He is excited to partner with Ben Koester of Koester Construction on their new joint venture in the lakes area.

Co-Founder

Ben has been in the general contracting space since he was born, growing up in the family business and developing an exceptional depth of construction knowledge. He has been an essential part of Koester Construction's growth over the years, first as a young salesman and later transitioning into executive leadership. His commitment to excellence and customer success is a proven foundation for Lakes Building Co., helping ensure each project is delivered on time, on budget, and to your specifications.
